MPFNC JUNIOR FOOTBALL CLUB

The club introduced a Junior Football Club in season 2022 comprising of just one team in the Bendigo Junior Football League. With a lot of hard work and passion by volunteers, in particular Sonya Browne and Melissa Doak, the Junior Club in 2026 will be offering 4 teams in the BJFL.

 

These teams are:

* U9s/U10s (Coach: To be confirmed)

 * U12 Girls (Coach: Jason Comer)

* U12 Mixed (Coach: Jayden Dodson)

* U15s Girls (Coach: Andrew Long)

 

U12 girls play Friday nights,

U10s & U12s mixed play Saturday mornings.

15s Girls play on a Sunday.

Trainings are 4.30pm Tuesdays at the CMC Junortoun Mercy Ovals.

The Junior Club would like to field all 4 teams, however this will only be possible if there is enough players to do so. If you have a child who is in the above age groups and would like to be part of our club and community, then please get in touch as soon as possible.

U16s and U14s BOYS – THE INTRODUCTION OF U15s IN THE HEATHCOTE DISTRICT FOOTBALL NETBALL LEAGUE (HDFNL)          

The HDFNL, based on submissions made by clubs within the league, have introduced a new junior tier of football effective season 2026.  The introduction of an U15s boys’ competition in the HDFNL has been created with “… the objective to establish a sustainable and aligned junior development pathway within the HDFNL region and acknowledges the potential positive impact to the future sustainability of the league.”  Hence, the U16s boys who are over the age of 15 will be absorbed into the current U18s team and the U14s team, and players under the age of 15, will form part of the new U15s team that will play on a Saturday at 9am with the senior football club teams.
